It would be nice if you could keep the volume setting the same for all Mantras (I.e opt out of using the background harmonium sound permanently instead of having to turn it down on each re-entry into the app. Also the volume control is not very responsive. It often takes several sliding attempts to actually reduce to volume to off. Lastly the image I selected appears distorted (elongated) when I try to load it on the app. Not sure why this is, but normally this photo that I chose appears normal on my screen.

Description of app claims 39 mantras are included with purchase of app. In my experience none of the mantras work for more than a few minutes unless you pay additional 2 bucks for each one. Save your money and time, in my experience the service department doesnt work either!

I love having this app on my phone. Now I have mantra to chant along with all the time, especially Thomas Ashley-Farrands mantras - he is a teacher who changed my life!

Observe from a distance as the Mantra fills up the place where your useless, repetitive thoughts live. Theres one for cleansing your living/working space that you should just let play. Pick the mantras that address whats important to you. If you dont have the space to really belt out the mantras then do them walking or in the car. WARNING: get ready for change b/c this practice will TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE!

I love that it has many prerecorded chants plus he ability to record your own. Great app once I figured out how to use it.

I am a novice in mantra meditation and this tool has helped me enormously. Lots of options to choose a mantra you can connect to. Mantra chanting IS healing for the soul and it settles your mind. Love it!

This app is a real sanity-saver. Love it!

The recordings are excellent, and it is nice to be able to choose how many times to chant. After Im finished though, the next time I want to chant I have to go in and reset the malas/beads. If I hit "chant" later in the day it only plays the mantra once. I really wish that when I hit "chant" it would just start over with the number I originally set. then I could easily use it repeatedly throughout the day.

Awesome app overall. Only one issue is that when Ive completed the number of malas Ive set, I have to go back in and reset my chant each time to get the app to play continuously again. If that were fixed, itd be perfect.

Ive been using it for months. Not only does it allow you select the religion and type of chant, you can choose to go bead to bead yourself or set it up so you can close your eyes and go deep into your chant. I didnt know what I was doing when I purchased it and it taught me and brings me so much peace. Must buy!

Always had problems meditating, getting distracted, etc but concentrating on the chants helps you focus. Presented simply and highly customizable

Its hit or miss. Some of the chants sound bland while others are better.

Great selection of mantras.

Agree that voice choices would be nice. The current female voice with the male shadow sounds rather robotic to me rather than being stilling and meditative. Id rather hear a low droning male voice. It would be great if there were a feature where the mantras were spoken in their original language rather than English. Additional graphics would be nice too. I tend to nod off listening to this rather than focusing on the discipline of the meditation. Its a total bore compared to other programs.

Not as described. Only one chant. Not user friendly. Feel I wasted money!

Love the controls over the music and chanting. Also love the mala bead options! Great app for tuning out.

This is a very easy, INEXPENSIVE, and helpful app. In my opinion, the changing of voices is a non issue. I like to use this app to learn the pronunciation and cadence of the mantras, as well as the meanings. I rarely use the app through an entire 108 cycle. I use it to learn then do it on my own with my beads. There are more mantras on this app then you will ever use in a lifetime so I am not sure why folks are complaining. All the main ones are included. I guess if you want the super rare ones, find yourself a guru ;)
